(61% vermentino and 39% grenache blanc):  Pale yellow.  Fresh citrus and orchard fruit scents are sharpened by hints of talc-y minerals and ginger.  Spicy and tightly focused on the palate, offering bitter pear skin, Meyer lemon and quinine flavors that give way to a deeper melon quality with air.  Closes with spiciness, firm cut and very good focus.  This nervy, fat-free wine checks in at a very low 11.9% alcohol, but is in no way skinny.
