(a blend of zinfandel, petite sirah, alicante, grand noir, carignane, lenoir and assorted others):  Opaque purple.  Candied cherry, potpourri and smoky Indian spices on the seductively perfumed nose.  Juicy, bright and sharply delineated, with sappy blackberry, bitter cherry, licorice and dark chocolate flavors.  Supple and fruity but also structured and linear, with fully integrated tannins and excellent finishing clarity and length.  This suave, well-balanced wine should age along a slow, graceful arc.
