Bright ruby.  Spicy cherry and blueberry scents are complemented by notes of vanilla, lavender and peppery spices.  Plush and juicy on the palate, offering intense dark fruit liqueur flavors that are lifted and sharpened by gentle acidity and a touch of white pepper.  Shows very good clarity on the finish, with the floral and spice notes echoing.  There's 17.3% alcohol here, by the way, but it's remarkably well hidden.
