Deep ruby-red.  Spicy, intensely perfumed aromas of black raspberry, cherry-cola and licorice, with a smoky undertone.  Juicy, penetrating dark berry, cherry-cola, spicecake and floral pastille flavors show excellent clarity, with gentle acidity providing lift.  Fine-grained tannins give shape and grip to the finish, which features a suave floral pastille character.  This wine was made with 50% whole clusters.
