Mildly cherry-like elements peek out from behind a light veneer of toast in the clean, moderately full aromas of this fruit-biased bottling, and the ensuing flavors run true to expectations with a clear streak of tart cherries playing partner to both yeast and a touch of chalk. Fairly high in acid and a touch edgy at the end, the wine succeeds on the strength of its depth rather than any inherent finesse.
(50% pinot noir and 25% each of chardonnay and pinot meunier; L3201006191): Pale, bright pink. A wild, pungent bouquet evokes redcurrant, cherry and licorice, with a suave floral quality in the background. Juicy, penetrating red fruit flavors are braced by a note of blood orange and show impressive intensity. Finishes brisk and incisive, with excellent length.
Orange-pink with a frothy mousse. Musky red berries and dried rose aromas are brightened by blood orange and smoky minerals. Pliant raspberry and bitter cherry flavors stain the palate, picking up a hint of herbs on the back end. Finishes with very good, chewy persistence and a strong echo of red fruit. This could handle rich cheeses or light poultry dishes.
: Bright pink, with an orange tinge. Wild strawberry and raspberry on the
nose, with complicating notes of orange marmalade and honeysuckle. Fleshy and broad but a taut spine of
acidity adds focus to juicy red fruit flavors. The orange note comes back on a spicy, subtly leesy
finish.

NV Grand Brut .
Pale salmon-orange color. Bright aromas of blood orange, earth and chalky minerality. Then dry and brisk in the mouth, with the earthy nuance carrying through. Offers good intensity and length but only modest complexity.
