About Domaine Dujac
The story of Domaine Dujac began with the ambition of Jacques Seysses, the son of a biscuit manufacturer. Jacques never wanted to follow in his father's footsteps, however; his sights were set on making wine.
91(+?) Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - March/April 2001
Medium red. Aromas of cherry, raspberry, licorice, herbs, humus, bitter chocolate and strong spicy oak. The most intensely flavored and powerful of these '98s but also a bit dominated by its spine. Very firm acids and serious, building tannins suggest that this backward wine will need a good eight to ten years of cellaring. But it appears to have the sheer material to reward patience.
