(50% pinot noir, 40% chardonnay and 10% pinot meunier; L1335PP00300): Bright yellow-gold. Musky pear skin, quince and orange zest aromas show very good energy. Hefty and chewy in texture, offering fleshy orchard fruit and chamomile flavors and a hint of bitter citrus fruit. Closes with firm grip and very good length, leaving a poached pear note behind.

Great champagne!

Great champagne, not so great price. Total Wine prices suck compared to most local shops in Clearwater and St. Pete. Beware of the evil empire that is Total Wine!
Simply the best

Pure buttered toast. This is the one I picture in my mind when I think of great, classic Champagne (short of spending $100+).
Where does the headache come from?

I agree with another reviewer above; a solid baseline bubbly. At least I have never gotten any complaints from either; guests, friends, or that particular charming lady I was trying to seduce. But, where did my headache come from the other morning?
Pleasant Surprise!!!

Our first time with any Tatinger. The sweet and sour notes were baffling but pleasant. The golden hue and elegant bubbles reminded us of our favorite Pommery Royal Brut, which is our # 1 preference to date in this particular price range. Our Friday night research project continues and was made pleasant by this NV Tat.
Our baseline bubbly.

One of the great things about this Tat is its consistency from year to year. Elegant bubbly, medium dry good nose, with some citric notes. Very pleasing. The Standard barer of the Bubbly Twins. Always defines what a good bottle of fizzy grape squeezings should start from. It is usually available, and if some of our less knowledgeable friends ask what to bring, This is it, cause we dont do Korbel. Thus sayth the Bubbly Twins!
