(60% pinot noir and 40% chardonnay; L036195A110760): Light gold. Ripe pear and nectarine aromas and flavors, with smoke and sweet butter nuances building with air. Juicy and pliant, with very good depth and notes of butter toast and honey on the back half. Rich but lively, with strong finishing punch and lingering minerality.

Emotion of a work of art

Very difficult to find a better non vintage, perfect balance, between youth and age, vinosity and freshness, delicate and rounded.
Bubbles and Yeast

Beautiful thick mousse gives way to extensive micro-carbonation. Bubbles cling to all parts of the flute with a full, biscuity nose. Definitely superior to the Vueve Cliquot Yellow Label for those who desire a full-bodied, yeasty champagne. The Roederer also rivals the slightly more expensive Bollinger Special Cuvee. I will definitely buy this wine again.
Food friendly pleasure

It is difficult to imagine that we drank the same wine as the previous reviewers. Fragrances and flavors of meat and leather gave way in about half an hour to a yeasty wine with a creamy texture. We paired it with a hot Washington summer evening, steamed fresh Maine lobster, buttered corn and bread, and smiled from ear to ear with pleasure. Not, however, a wine that we would likely want to drink without rich food.
Very Good!

I like this nv brut, it has nice citrus, lemon flavors, good density, and toasty flavors.
Solid Sparkler

I've had at least 10 bottles of this and it's my favorite everyday champagne. This is a very good bubbly at a very reasonable price (sells for about $33 where I live). I like it better than the NV Veuve Cliquot but you may disagee based on your taste preferences.

I like this very much. Not as elegant as Veuve Cliquot Yellow Label. But more boiserous. Perfect New Year's eve champagne.
Delicious Toast

I choose this for my Y2K celebration, and it did not disappoint. Beautiful, long lasting flavor, lots of yeast, good acidity. Too bad it can be had in France for FF140, or US$20.
decent

Pretty decent as far as NV French goes. Fairly creamy and subdued style. Definitely shouldn't offend anyone. Possibly overpriced though.
Over priced bubbly

Lack of character. Why lose money on Roederer when you can buy Bollinger for a better price?! To be avoided at all costs, unless you read the Wine Spectator and are supporting a $ 25.000 campaign !
burk!!!!!!!!!!
