Unbelievable!!!

My wife and I recently reconnected with a long lost friend who, over the course of several years, had turned into a wine enthusiast. In preparation for an evening of relaxation and talk of the "good old days," I purchased a bottle of '98 Opus One. None of us had ever before experienced Opus One wine. The overall experience was amazing -- from the incredible nose to the assortment of well crafted flavors to a gorgeous finish...what a fantastic experience.

My husband and I shared this bottle at the Bella Vista Restaurant in Woodside and were blown away. It's seamless. A perfect wine for a perfect dinner.

Dusty and refine tannin followed by the moderately twisted finish. This wine is grapey with a touch of currant on your tong and nose. Nicely made. (90-92?)
