About Araujo Estate
Since 1990, Bart and Daphne Araujo have carried on the tradition of making monster Cabernets from the Eisele Vineyard, adding Syrah into the mix as well. Their flagship bottling is dense, powerful and rich, typically with soil-inflected notes of plum, mocha, tobacco and smoke, and very suave tannins.

Very deep, saturated ruby-red. Crystallized black cherry, violet and crushed dark berries on the nose, along with a faint dusty, leathery quality. Lush, tactile and seamless, with wonderful sweetness of fruit for the vintage. Already shows lively cassis and redcurrant fruit in the middle palate. Finishing flavor begins subtly, then expands into a very long aftertaste.
