Saturated ruby to the rim. Reticent but very pure aromas of cassis, black cherry, iodine, shoe polish, minerals, mint and toffee. Intensely flavored and very concentrated but tightly wrapped today; thick but not gooey. Primal and rather uncompromising; actually, in a rather awkward stage today, and showing its tannins.
