Full ruby color. Enticing aromas of dark berries, dark chocolate, tobacco and spicy oak. Sweet, fat, ripe and generous; offers the pliant ripeness and delicious fruit of the '97 vintage. Finishes with dusty, ripe tannins and thoroughly ripe flavors. A superb vintage for this wine.
