About Laurel Glen Vineyard
The precious 3-acre parcel that gave birth to Laurel Glen Vineyard was first planted by German immigrants back in 1880. But it was Patrick Campbell who rediscovered the plot in 1974 and set to work expanding the vineyard to its current size of 16 acres.
91-93 Points | International Wine Cellar , May/June 1999
Deep saturated ruby. Multifaceted nose combines cassis, plum, chocolate, pungent spices, leather, game and tobacco leaf. Sweeter, fatter and more concentrated than the Counterpoint, with firm acidity contributing to the impression of backbone. Very long, strong and youthful on the back end.
