About Laurel Glen Vineyard
The precious 3-acre parcel that gave birth to Laurel Glen Vineyard was first planted by German immigrants back in 1880. But it was Patrick Campbell who rediscovered the plot in 1974 and set to work expanding the vineyard to its current size of 16 acres.

Aromas of cherry, animal fur and cigar tobacco (Montecristo #2?). Sweet and moderately fleshy but distinctly slighter than the '99. With its modest mid-palate weight, this comes across as rather tannic, and a bit tart, on the back end.
