96 Points | International Wine Cellar , September/October 1998

Vivid aromas of rose petal, grapefruit, mint, spice, and chlorophyll, plus exotic, but not at all roasted, notes of coconut and toffee. Superconcentrated from entry through finish: thick, urgent fruit is amazingly intense, with its superb sweetness leavened by brisk lemony acidity. Powerful yet quite fine. Explosive time delay of a finish refuses to quit.
