(90% pinot noir and 10% chardonnay; disgorged July, 2012):  Bright orange.  A heady, complex bouquet of candied red berries, rhubarb, vanilla, potpourri and smoky minerals.  Sappy, penetrating and pure, offering intense red fruit and floral pastille flavors underlined by juicy acidity.  Shows excellent focus and power on the finish, which leaves rose pastille and raspberry notes behind.  As usual, one of the best non-vintage pink Champagnes of the year, and a relative bargain for its quality.
