(90% pinot noir and 10% chardonnay, from 2010 and 2009; aged on its lees for 15 months and disgorged in September, 2012): Pale pink. High-pitched raspberry, floral pastille and spicecake aromas are deepened by notes of iodine and anise. Silky and seamless on the palate, offering intense red berry flavors and a hint of honeysuckle. Finishes sappy and long, with exotic spice and floral nuances and lingering minerality.
