1996 Les Pagodes is about the right time to drink, very full, smoky and ripe.
full bodied fruitiness

What is remarkable about this wine is the deep fruiteness all the way! Aroma is that of a basket of mixed ripe fruits; you can then taste cherries, followed by some cassis aftertaste, not overwhelmed by the mild tannins that that round it off.
Yum for a second wine...

Saturated deep reddish brown in color. A lot better than the last bottle I had 2-3 years ago. Aromas of cedar, tobacco, and somewhat green but in a good way. Elegant wine and a little spicy with glycerine, cocoa and nice cherry flavor.

I could not believe this was a second wine when I tried it. Not too far off from a real Cos. This baby is beautiful for drinking now while waiting for the 96 Cos to mature (I have not opened any of the 96 Cos yet but if this is their second wine then I cannot wait to open my first!)
