About Paloma Vineyard
Jim and Barbara Richards began crafting superb Napa Valley Merlot in 1983. Although Jim has since passed, the Richards still have a rabid following among those who prize sweetness of fruit, creamy texture and plenty of spicy oak. Sheldon, Jim’s son, now works alongside his mom in the vines and in the cellar, carrying on the work, and good reputation of his dad’s vineyard.

($39) Deep ruby-red. Sweet, rather wild aromas of cassis, dark chocolate, game, tree bark and maple syrup. Rich, chocolatey and sweet; smooth and gamey, with chewy texture and notes of tobacco and dill. Shows good density and sweetness for the year.
