A nectar of a wine!

I did not use to enjoy dessert wines but I changed my mind with the Isole e Olena Vin Santo and eventually tasted with great pleasure the Chateau Haut Bernasse Monbazillac (1990 at the time). The 1995 is now released and it is an incredible treat, by itself, after dinner. No dessert necessary.

This is terrific! It is a blend of semillon and sauvignon that is botrytis infected, delicious, rich and well balanced. Also, a real bargain, it comes in full 750 ml bottles and this makes it great to serve when you have more than a few guests!
