(4.8 g/l total acidity; 13 % alcohol):  Dark ruby-red.   Delicate aromas of dark berries, incense, sandalwood, grilled meat, smoke and black pepper.  The palate offers simple flavors similar to the aromas, showing good balance and easy quaffability but lacking the depth and concentration of the better vintages.  Finishes with smooth tannins and modest length.
