Opaque. Plums, cocoa, assortment of black cherry, kirsch and chocolate. Massive in the mouth with minerally anise-tinged black currants, enveloping soft tannins and good acid, layers of black cherry, lead, pepper in the long finish. Enormous, powerful, backward. 10-20 years. "A" Tasters' Guild, June, 2001
