Musky aromas of orange peel and licorice. Higher in acidity than the viognier, but also intensely flavored and substantial. "Like an overbearing chardonnay," says Arrowood: "Robust, fleshy and weighty." This, too, seems quite young and in need of 6-12 months of bottle aging. Long, firm, fruity aftertaste. Serious juice, neither loosely knit nor too fat.
