95-98 Points | International Wine Cellar , May/June 1998

Very dark ruby color. Slightly sauvage aromas of boysenberry, minerals, smoke and toffee. Like liquid velvet on the palate, with extraordinary sweetness and brightness. A huge wine, with remarkable depth of flavor; fruit coats the entire mouth. Finishes extremely long, with thoroughly suave tannins buried in fruit. Like the above sample, this hit my G spot.
