Deep red-ruby. Sappy aromas of cassis, black raspberry, dark chocolate and mint, with the oak component more thoroughly integrated. Thick, dense and very concentrated; really urgent cassis and black raspberry flavors offer lovely restrained sweetness. Powerfully structured, with strong acidity. Finishes with superb, palate-staining length. Should develop quite slowly and be long-lived.
