About Chateau Lafaurie Peyraguey
Values are tough to find in Sauternes, but this is certainly one of them, especially in the good vintages. The south facing slopes here provide the vines with ample sunlight and excellent drainage, producing a wonderfully rich, honeyed, tropical-fruity Sauternes with lovely balance and precision of flavor.

91 Points | International Wine Cellar , July/August 2001
Liqueur-like aromas of pear, peach, white plum and honey, along with subtle oak notes. Fat, sweet, rich and oaky; a mouthfilling, honeyed Sauternes showing a bit of youthful aggressiveness. But long on the back end and very promising.
