Reddish for a tawny. Strong fruit aroma with a touch of caramel. Sweet and full-bodied without overpowering. I have been enjoying this wine as an everyday after-dinner drink.
Caramel with a Kick

Creamy caramel punctuated with dark cherry and burnt cinnamon, currants and smokey raisins. Maple syrup on top and pecan pralines on the bottom. Overtones of oak, pine and earth and a minuscule hint of rubbing alcohol on the finish.

for the first name in port, a bit of a disappointment. this tawny just tastes so generic.
