Excellent Premier Crus from Puligny-Montrachet

A wine list by Stephen Tanzer, Wine Writer, IWC
At its best, the village of Puligny-Montrachet produces steely, minerally, supremely elegant wines with considerable aging potential. Compared to Meursault, for example, these wines are typically less rich in texture but higher-pitched, often with a more floral character. Here are some of my favorite premier cru examples of Puligny-Montrachet; expect to pay two or three times as much for the village's grand crus.
