I could think of no better way to pump more money into the economy by blowing my entire gift from the Treasury Department on six bottles of wines ready to drink. Here's what I bought and tasted. Thanks Uncle Sammy.

This is a serious Cab. Earthy, tobacco spice, dark cassis fruit. It is just starting to drink but I think we'll peak in another four to six years. Not sure why Barnett's wines haven't garnered more attention. They make delicious wines.

I cannot say enough about Didier's wines. This wine is full of ripe melons and has touches of lime and minerals. If I could only drink one producer's white wines, Dagueneau would be the unequivocal choice.
