Top Values in Washington Cabernet

Washington State cabernet prices have climbed in recent years, along with just about all other wine categories. Although prices for these wines do not approach the nosebleed levels of the top collectible bottlings from Napa Valley, it’s now very difficult to find outstanding wines for less than $30. In the course of my extensive annual tastings of Washington’s wines for coverage in my bimonthly International Wine Cellar, here are some cabernet-based bottlings that offer superb quality/price rapport.
