The Ten Best Wines At Zahav To Enjoy With Israeli Food
From critically acclaimed chef Michael Solomonov, Zahav is Philadelphia's first exposure to modern Israeli food.
In creating the wine list for Zahav, I wanted to stay true to the region and try to get as many quality wines from the middle east as I could. I also wanted to pick out some wines that went well with Israeli cuisine, which is very full flavored. So here is a list of some wines that go particularly well with our food. I hope you enjoy our list and if you're ever in the Philadelphia area, swing by Zahav!

Close your eyes and you could be drinking a Sancerre. This sauvignon blanc has very little fruit, but notes of fresh cut grass and minerality make up its nose. This wine has very refreshing acidity, and is a perfect foil for our salad sampler to start the meal
