This wine was offered from magnum during an International Pinot Noir Celebration (IPNC) event just after we purchased our property in 1999. The wine showed amazing concentration and finesse. It was one of our first Oregon Pinot Noirs that had more than 10 years of bottle age. Who knew?

The day after Thanksgiving is the official “Opening Day” of Christmas Shopping. We pick up a lobe of Foie Gras and a bottle of “La Rectorie” to help us cope. This is a beautiful match to pan seared Foie Gras on toast points. Happy Holidays!
