I was at a dinner at Farallon Restaurant in San Francisco, to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Louis Jadot, hosted by the president of Maison Louis Jadot, Pierre-Henry Gagey. They poured some spectacular wines for a small group of us at the dinner.
1997 Domaine/Maison Louis Jadot Chevalier Montrachet Les Demoiselles (From Private Cellar)
The 1997 Chevalier was bright, pinpoint perfect and showing beautifully. The classic minerality and firm acidity in perfect balance.

2006 Domaine/Maison Louis Jadot Beaune Les Theurons
If you can't locate a bottle of the 1959 Beaune Theurons you shoould give serious consideration to the excellent and utterly charming 2006 vintage. It might even age as well as the 1959.

2006 Domaine/Maison Louis Jadot Chambolle Musigny Les Amoureuses
At our dinner we drank a superb vintage 1993 of the Chambolle Musiny Les Amoureuses. The 2006 might surpass it. Already showing superb aromatics, this is a wine that will require time to develop but the wait will be worth it.
2006 Domaine/Maison Louis Jadot Beaune Clos des Ursules
My favorite wine of the night was the spectacular 1985 Beaune Clos des Ursules. The 2006 vintage still needs time to develop but it shows much promise at this stage of its young life.
