There are so many wines from Napa Valley which never seem to get the attention in which they deserve. It's time to expose these "Hidden Gems" and change the spotlight from the "Usual Suspects".
2004 Sawyer Merlot Rutherford Napa Valley
It's not very often that I have found a Rutherford Merlot which has that beautiful cocoa (Rutherford Dust) on the finish. Look for notes and flavors of black fruit, vanilla, and cedar with this prefectly balanced wine.
Beaucanon Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Longwood Napa Valley
