Michael's Rating:
Tasting Date: 01/25/2002; Location: Jean Thomas' home in the Loire Valley

2006 Chateau Du Cros Bordeaux Blanc

Michael's Rating:
A great value wine with lots of fruit. Dry and crisp like all good white Bordeaux, this wine has a raciness that gives it a little zip. Perfect on a hot Summer day.

2006 Georges Duboeuf Morgon Jean-Ernest Descombes

Michael's Rating:
Yes, red wine in warm weather! Beaujolais gets a bad rap because of the Nouveau that comes out every November but cru Beaujolais can be outstanding wine. Medium-bodied and fruit forward, chill this down a little and see if you don't agree.

2007 Chateau Grande Cassagne Rose Costieres de Nimes

Michael's Rating:
Tasting Date: 07/24/2007; Location: the beach!
This wine is hard to beat for the money! Dark for a rose, this wine has lots of flavor intensity. Aromas of strawberries emanate from the glass, leading to a tasty, quaffable wine that will leave you wondering where the rest of the bottle went.
