Chateau Lafleur Tasting March 2009

A wine list by Wine Inspector
Xmas 2008 I got a very nice present: an invitation to a public Chateau Lafleur tasting. The tasting took place beginning of March 2009 in a Rheingau winery. Surprisingly the Lafleur owners Mrs. and Mr. Guinaudeau attended the meeting. By the way: Chateau Grand Village is a Bordeaux Superieur made by the Chateau Lafleur equipe.

Dark color. Nearly no nose. Very closed. On the palate incisive tannins. However, an endless finish (lasted +5 min) that saves the 90(+) points.
