This wine was decanted 2-3 hours before the tasting. Dark red color. Cherry, plum, red fruits, leather, ..., smooth palate and a very, very long finish. 94-95 (++?) points. I have the feeling that this wine can even get up to the 99-100 point level if you leave enough decanting time. Unluckily there was no second glass available to proof.

... and here he came, the famous 100 PPer. Kind of disappointing first glass: very muted nose, some hidden tannins. However an unbelieveable long and smooth finish. Second glass: you could literally smell how the wine opened up and released a gorgeous bouquet: plum, red fruit, bread, malt, coffee, chocolate, ....smooth on the palate and the hyperlong finish (+20 min) remained. 97-98(+?) points. The wine was decanted 2-3 h before the tasting but right now I would advice at least 5-6 h.

Dark color. Nearly no nose. Very closed. On the palate incisive tannins. However, an endless finish (lasted +5 min) that saves the 90(+) points.

Nearly black color. This wine was totally closed. Even after 2-3 hours of decanting only a thin nose of red fruits. Smooth and mild palate. Short finish. Present showing: 89-90 points. However, I have the feeling this win... more

Nearly black color. This wine was totally closed. Even after 2-3 hours of decanting only a thin nose of red fruits. Smooth and mild palate. Short finish. Present showing: 89-90 points. However, I have the feeling this wine is right now in a difficult adolesence stage. Once he reaches a certain level of maturity one can expect more.
