2014 Purlieu Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

Julien Fayard is one of Napa’s superstar winemakers.and this impressive Cabernet Sauvignon comes from legendary Napa vineyards such as Beckstoffer To Kalon, Missouri Hopper, Martinez, and Teucer.  This combination of site and skill has produced a compelling, densely concentrated, powerfully structured Cabernet that will develop even more chocolatey richness and smoothness between 2025 and 2030.

2014 Chateau Mille Roses Haut Medoc

No cellar is complete without the classic wines of Bordeaux.  This is a fine Cabernet Sauvignon prediminant wine from the left bank commune of Haut Medoc from a property situated between classified growth estates Château Giscours and Château Cantemerle.  This is everything good claret should be, cassis, cedar with firm, fine tannins, that will develop classic foie gras complexity and a mellowed texture between 2020 and 2024.
