About Domaine Marc Kreydenweiss
More and more Alsace vignerons are farming their vineyards biodynamically, but Marc Kreydenweiss was one of the first. For almost 15 years, he's been applying the techniques pioneered by Rudolph Steiner to his excellent Alsace vineyards. These include roughly 30 hectares and portions of three Grand Cru vineyards: Kastelberg, Moenchberg, and Wiebelsberg. Since 1999, the family has also been working their new holdings in the southern Rhone in the same manner. In Alsace, look for the mineral-driven Rieslings, as well as the Klevner Kritt, a dry, firm and racy Pinot Blanc, with focused mineral and citrus notes.
