Lemons Linger

This one is consistent, clean, and complements most casual seafood dishes. Its lemon lasts and lingers throughout the meal. I buy it by the case and orchestrate brunches to enjoy this clearly under-priced chard with my friends.

The 2005 Santa Barbara/Monterey blend was great. It's medium to full bodied and well balanced. There's a great blend of butter, oak, spice (particularly nutmeg), tropical fruit, and citrus. This bottle could last a few years.

Glad to have tasted this one

Try with gruyere for a delicious pairing. This is a standard favorite.

Okay but not spectacular

I am very picky about my Chardonnay-this wasn't too bad but there was something about it I just didn't like. Try the Vintner's reserve instead-it was more buttery if that's what you are looking for.

Unobtrusive

Some folks like wines that are "in your face" or distinctive. I rather prefer a more subtle experience and this wine has nothing to hide and is well balanced.

Rich and tasty

This wine is a rich wine and very nice to drink, but I personally prefer more crisp chardonnay. It's a good value, though.
