This is a great wine that you can have with almost anything or nothing. Nice crisp finish, just make sure that it is very cold!!
I strongly prefer sweeter whites and this Gewurztraminer is one of the 5 best I have ever tried. Although I have purchased many cases of the Fetzer Gewurztraminer, this one is a little bit better.
I love this wine and I dont realy like white or sweet wines. It's sweet but not to sweet, fragent and smooth. I really injoyed it. And I cant argue with the price. (best Serve chilled.)
like a Reisling with a spice finish, slightly dry
Very good wine. Med sweetness. Nicer finish than Fetzer variety.
Similar to Alexander Valley New Gewurz which we had at Riccuiti's wine pairing dinner. Sweet and fruity.
tw 10-07. 10-31-07 sweetish but not too sweet, not the greatest but would go with some foods. maybe buy it once in a while.
Good Wine. nice blend of dry and sweet
This 2004 offering was a tad too "floral" for my particular tastes. But that's my issue,,,the wine is well made, clean, crisp with a zingy little finish. Peaches, apples, and citrus abound in the luscious palate. The nose is a joyful fruit stand. Great party sipper or with light exotic fare. Have fun!!
Ok, but not a wine you'd be in a hurry to request a refill.
This is an OK American Gewurztraminer: fruity, sweet, refreshing, but not memorable. IMO, the Fetzer at the same price is a better Gewurztraminer; but neither hold a candle to ones from the Alsace.
