2005 Blockbuster Cab

To quote a prior review: "This is a stunning wine, all the more so for the price. It is deep red in color with a fruity nose. In the mouth it is smooth and fruity at the beginning, evolving into a rich complexity that satisfies the whole palate, and finally giving an intense finish that hints of licorice." CONCUR! Recommended without reservation.

Great Suprise

Well, after my second case, I still believe this wine is a very great buy. Good body and color. Nice to the nose and eye.

niiiice

Great wine. Reviewers are right -- wine is comparable to price points twice this one. This is a big, juicy, complex wine. Explosive fruit w/ cassis on the palate. Finish has a great toasty oak that's so deep I've had quite a few customers throw out "leather" as well. Great mouthfeel. Loooooong finish; go ahead and enjoy a bottle today but toss some in the cellar for a couple of years as well. Be sure and decant for a solid half hour upon opening. Develops a more pronounced chocolate finish over the course of the evening.

Great Zin

Wonderful, full flavor, easy drinking.

This is a stunning wine, all the more so for the price. It is deep red in color with a fruity nose. Only cabernets or meritage blends at more than twice the price can compare to this.

Best Wine

This is the best napa cab for the price. Full bodied, rich fruit, long finish, tremendous mouth feel and texture. Just the right oak/toast flavor. A perfect bottle of wine.

Best Napa Cabernet / The One to compare to.

Silky & Smooth with a long finish. Great with a steak or cigar.

Marvelous

I was turned on to this one after falling in love with the Chappellet Mt Cuvee cab. It has a comforting aroma, and a return much like that of a beautiful olive skinned Mediterranean woman.

Nice surprise!

I do not like to spend over 15 dollars for a bottle of wine. PERIOD. However, if I was asked if this wine is worth the extra dollars...I would say without hesitation...ABSOLUTELY. Fruity, just the right amount of tanins, very little finish, refreshing. I could have easily finished the bottle and wanted more and this rarely is the case. Will be buying more of this to impress the guests!!

Stellar

This is a rock solid Napa cab that hits all the right notes and lives up to its hefty price tag. Paired this beauty with flank steak and grilled veggies and it soared. Full-bodied and chock full of dark fruits and mouth-coating tannins that somehow finished slightly dry... was great 10 minutes after opening and just got better. Killer cab.

Titus Cab

Another enjoyable cab worth having in the cellar collection

Fine, but underimpressive

There was nothing wrong with this wine but it was far less impressive than other wines of the same price, such as Turnbull's cabernet. Perhaps I'm picky and/or partial to big cabs but I expect more complexity & concentration out of a $40 cab.

Let it breath!

The Titus Cab had a very biting finish initially. After about 30-45 minutes of breathing it mellowed out nicely.

want to purchase

The wine review sounds great; says it has an outstanding finish.
