This is a great-tasting merlot for a great price. Love it with cheese and crackers, and chocolate!
2008 - An excellent value. This doesn't taste like what you expect from a $7 bottle. Very soft fruits with cherry and plum predominate. Very soft tannins with a smooth velvet texture reminiscent of Pinot Noirs. I'll be making this a regular addition to my shopping list.
This is a terrific value wine. The complexity of this merlot is well above its price point. It drinks well with hints of black cherry, currants, and spice, and ends with a relatively smooth finish.
This is a great tasting merlot without a high price tag.
This is the best Merlot ever!!! I have been drinking it for 2 years and still tasting others to find one that compares. I cannot! This one is the best!
I rated this 2007 Merlot five stars. Much better than Concha Y Torro from Casillero del Diablo which was too dry (I thought it was a Cab). Red Diamond tasted to me as Morlot should.
Full bodied.. great finish.. there is nothing bad about this wine!!
Very good merlot. Not complex but has a nice mouth feel to it. I tasted a lot of fruit and just a slight oak. If you are just starting to get into wine, this one's a good bet.
This wine really impressed me,I would definatly buy again..Smooth and very balanced..
I first had this wine at a dinner party. At first sip, I wanted to know more. The host gave me the name and I was sure it must have been more expensive. What a pleasant surprise to find it so affordable. It is a great value red; very smooth, tasting better than some of its more expensive peers, (in my opinion).
My favorite Merlots come from Washington State and this is incredible for the price!!! TRY IT!
I like this wine!
but tends to gain a bit too much sweetness as it breathes.
