We tried the wine at Sammy's Wood-fire Pizza and it was great smooth no after taste a very pleasant smell.
But this one is definitely my cup of tea! Very nice and fruity, extremely smooth and easy to drink. A friend gave me a bottle and I was going to use it just to cook with because I'm not into cabs, but when I opened the bottle and poured some into my stew, the smell caught my attention. I tried a bit, and I was hooked! The next day, I was at the store getting some more! :)
A must buy for the cab enthusiasts that like supple tanins with a smooth tannins. A smooth cab that can be enjoyed with a meal or on its own.
I've been searching for this excellent wine ever since I tried a bottle at a Florida restaurant a couple of years ago. Until now, couldn't find it. One of the very best moderately priced Cabs.
We were not familiar with any of the wines on a wine list at dinner last night, so my husband just picked 14 Hands. We both loved it and i came online to find out more about it and read some reviews.
Had some at Il Fornaio in Berlingame CA. I think it is the best Cab I have ever had. I loved it immeditaly!
Probably the best red I have tasted for under $10
I can see this wine going well with a variety of cuisines, especially spicy. It's smooth and would not interfere with a good Thai or Asian stir fry
This one was an unexpected gem... enticing aromas of chocolate, cherries, butterscotch(!) and oak... kept coming back to the glass to take another sniff... and it's all answered by the incredible long-lasting taste that soothes the mind and soul... getcha some!
This wine has a smooth body with excellent flavors that build on one another. Highly recommendable for the price!
Medium Body, great with red meat; good 3 star and pricing
