FOR MONEY HARD TO BEAT!
This was a terrific purchase especially for the price (under $15/bottle) This wine went from good to very, very good when given sufficient time to breathe.
nice wine good taste
Great flavors on opening. Black fruits. Nice balance. Aroma dies too quickly.
A superb wine at a price that was a steal !!!!!!!!!
I found this Malbec to be an excellent, full bodied wine. Very pleasant aftertaste. Fruity, with a hint of spice/peppar. I highly recommend this wine.
This already-full-bodied malbec opens w a blast of dark fruit aroma and even before having a chance to breath, it offers a welcoming depth and sillky pluminess with just the tiniest hint of astringency. At 3y it is fully drinkable right now--with a blue cheese tart to begin or as a respectful dance partner to a roast duck pizza. I am sure that it will even more pleasing in the next year or three--if we can keep it that long! ;)
surprisingly good value
This was an outstanding wine that I found while visiting Seattle of all places. Simply a treat and enjoyed sharing with good friends. Full, rich and very smooth.
Not sure if the wine was cooked but it tasted like crap however the folks at wine access made everything right. Kudo to Wine Access...no hassles
This one is a bit heavy. Good with beef or lamb. Flavors are ok.
Unforunately this was a dissapointing experience. Not only did I have to wait over two months to get the wine (I know you said it was because of the hot weather, but there are ways to safely ship wine, Like a local merchant does (cools the wine, packs in styrofoam, and ships ups or fedex) I was even mor disappointed when I tasted the wine. It was not bad, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I do a Terazzas, or Los Almos (not even the reserve) that I buy locally for $10 a bottle plus a 10% discount on a case....a bit dissappointing. As an aside, your policy of charging customers as soon as the order is submitted, rather tha when the order is shipped (like most respected on line merchants, is a bit of a put off.
Undrinkably dense and primary. Some promising aromatics hint at a nice future in the far distance. Far too early to rate.
This was listed as "one of the best value malbecs we've seen"....if this is the best, I just can't imagine how bad the rest must have been. I tested a bottle of a case that arrived this week. Nasty is a word I would suggest is appropriate. You would get a better Malbec in the gallon jars at CVS phamacy....
