Fruit, flower, oak and grass. This has a nice balance of all. Should just get better.

beautiful finish

this was a "top-off" and well worth the price - its elegance and poise puts similarly priced chards in the dust. the most well-balanced B-C chard of the vintage!

Burgundy style California Chard.

Delicious understated burgundy style California chard, apple-pear rather than the usual tropical fruits, very modest oak, refreshing and well-balanced, good with chicken, a very nice wine, 91 points.

Low-light B-C

Bright straw gold hue. Fresh cut hay, light stone fruit bouquet with flinty minerals. Lime and guava on attack rolling to a white flower, honey, and marzipan finish. A bit green throughout, shockingly for B-C; would drink sooner than most from B-C too. Zesty acidity works well with food, clean finish overall. Not sure if there was a bit of heat damage to this bottle - very austere compared to a previous bottling.
