I am really impressed with Craig McClean's wine making skills. I haven't yet had the privilege of tasting any of his Juslyn wines, but I have enjoyed the 2007 Brookdale and two or three different Ahnfeldt offerings made by him. They are all amply rich and exhibit excellent balance, combining power with elegance. This 2010 Cabernet is no exception. There are bigger, more blustery Cabs out there, but I'm not sure there are any that are more satisfying. First class!
11/19/17: I have tasted a few of the Juslyn wines now, and McLean's skills continue to impress. This guy is excellent!
4/11/18: Having another of these with a filet. It is in a beautiful place right now. Great fruit, well balanced and a long finish. What more could one ask from a 2010 Napa Cab?
9/18/19: Another one with a filet, nuked potato with chive butter, and watermelon. Beautiful wine - better, if anything. Really like this stuff!
6/24/20: Ditto!

Bold; prominent, but balanced tannins; lingering finish of dark berries with just the right amount of oak; improves in the bottle over a day or two or decant.
