In 1959, The Dry Creek Vineyard trained Leo Trentadue purchased his 208-acre Alexander Valley estate, lured by the promise of its combination of climate, soil, and water. When he planted vines, he was among the first to do so in Sonoma County after Prohibition. The terroir-driven qualities from the estate’s vines both recent and ancient still enchant thanks to Miro’s legendary winemaking abilities — skills he’s honed since his days at Dry Creek.

Truly low yields are the hallmark of the 2015 vintage, which saw a historically early bud break but then extended hang-time, allowing the berries to ripen evenly over the entire growing season, keeping acids fully in check.
