Always a blend of the Bordeaux varieties, the 2016 Napa Valley Red Wine consists of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, and elicited a breathless “Wow!” from Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate in their 99-point review. Purple-black as night with layered dark fruit, sweet spice, and wild herbs, it’s charming in the near term, but built to last for decades in the cellar. A true Pritchard Hill collector’s piece.
