Te Mānia, one of New Zealand’s star Sauvignon Blanc producers, has soared to new heights with this 2016 vintage.

As you’re standing in Te Mānia’s vineyards, looking out over the Bay of Tasman, it’s as if you’re gazing upon a living remnant of the Garden of Eden — “Good as Gold,” as the locals say. In 2016, from this slice of paradise winemaker Steve Gill — who has worked in some impressive European cellars, most notably Burgundy’s Dujac — crafted one of New Zealand’s most luscious, mouthwatering and delicious Sauvignon blancs.
