His 2022 Les Vins Julien Sauvignon Blanc hails from a top site in Yountville: Home to Lail’s $165 Georgia bottling, it’s Napa’s most prestigious AVA for the grape. He made less than 150 cases of this wine, which is the product of just two tons of grapes.
Fayard’s years working with Philippe Melka and consulting for top-tier wineries helped him cement relationships with A-list growers. Now, Fayard’s Rolodex includes the elite and the iconic, such as Platt Vineyard, Beckstoffer To Kalon, Missouri Hopper, Georges III, and Sugarloaf.
