Wines Included In This Shipment

2020 Domaine de Coyeux Les Jumelles Beaumes-de-Venise Rouge

Clustered among Gigondas and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Beaumes-de-Venise is one of the most intriguing upstart villages in the Southern Rhône. The balanced and aromatic Domaine de Coyeux Les Jumelles is so vivid and immediately enticing that it landed on the list at MICHELIN one-star La Mère Germaine—a prime example of the quality and value Beaumes-de-Venise brings.

2018 Bodegas Patrocinio Tempranillo Reserva Terroir de Zinio Rioja

Tempranillo is far and away the most important grape in Spain—and the sub-zone of Rioja Alta has a strong claim to being its spiritual home. Here, the grape is its most perfumed, vibrant, and ageworthy, as the cooler temperatures there allow for a long hang-time and profound complexity. Made under the direction of Master of Wine Norrel Robertson, the 2018 Terroir de Zinio Reserva shows off the outstanding vintage and Zinio’s prime terroir and old vines.

2020 Hudson Red Blend Phoenix Los Carneros Napa Valley

Hudson Ranch is one of Napa’s Grand Cru vineyards, selling fruit to top wineries—and their own Phoenix red delivers a stunning level of quality. It’s a powerful blend usually sold out to their wine club, and we’re thrilled to have finally nabbed an allocation for our members.

2021 Maxville Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

Nestled in Napa’s Chiles Valley AVA, Maxville Estate made a splash by hiring Jeff Owens, the 100pt Cabernet ace with Cakebread, Odette, and Plumpjack on his résumé. Owens trained with Tony Biagi and built CADE into an icon from the ground up—and his 2021 Maxville Cabernet Sauvignon, which went through final blending and into bottle shortly after Owens’s debut, is a bold, muscular, and elegant Napa Cab that shows just how high this estate can climb.

2020 Chateau de La Chaize Fleurie Beaujolais

The ten crus of Beaujolais produce some serious red wines—sophisticated bottlings that Wine Enthusiast said “stand against many fine Burgundies.” Among them, none are as ethereal, supple, and tantalizingly aromatic as those from Fleurie, and Château de la Chaize’s 2020 shows why the the AOC is known as the “Queen of Beaujolais.”

2021 Clos Berenguer Clos de Tafall Priorat

Spain’s Priorat region produces some of the most powerful and concentrated reds in the Old World, and Clos Berenguer’s 92-point 2021 Clos de Tafall perfectly encapsulates the style. Brooding, deep, and well-balanced, it shows why the region’s harsh terrain and minuscule yields are absolutely worth the struggle.
